Description
Threat Protect Training (TPT) are experts in delivering Aggression Management, Violence Prevention, Personal Safety and Security Training to Australian organisations. TPT train over a thousand front line healthcare workers annually. This includes Nurses, Doctors, Metal Health Professionals, Patient Care Assistants and any front-line healthcare staff that may experience Occupational Violence.
TPT also train Healthcare Security Teams to respond effectively to Code Black Alarms and other situations requiring a security presence. The training equips Participants with the skills and knowledge required to effectively manage Use of Force situations, such as the application of safe and effective restraint techniques, as well as the lawful use of OC Spray and Handcuffs.
On the opposite end of the Aggression spectrum, TPT deliver specialist training in Dementia related aggression, providing safe, practical methods for managing aggressive incidents whilst ensuring the patients dignity and safety are always of priority.
TPT deliver Personal Safety Training to the staff of numerous state and local government organisations in Western Australia. This training is designed to give staff the necessary skills and knowledge to manage their own safety in the workplace, particularly staff that may work alone or where the public have direct access. This training focuses on situational and self awareness, deescalation principles and self preservation or self defense training (role dependent).
TPT proudly work with several Indigenous organisations, some in the remote Kimberley region, to provide culturally sensitive solutions to managing aggression and violence in the workplace.
TPT's head office is in Western Australia. We have recently launched an office in Tasmania, which has been met with great enthusiasm by Tasmanian organisations both government and private. We look forward to extending our presence more throughout the East Coast!
