Two Barossa Girls who are passionate about heritage recipes, traditional food skills, and the community connections that they create. We are the keepers of the knowledge and the skills, with the desire to pass them forward to a new generation.

Combined, we have more than 40 years of traditional food skill knowledge in our repertoires - fowlers preserving, jams, sauces, chutneys, sourdough, fermenting, cheese making, butter and yoghurt and baking. We have an extensive private collection of heritage and historic cookbooks, with research resources to match. If you need someone to host a conversation, an interview, an informal chat, lead a food skills workshop, or provide consultancy to a project, we are your girls.
