Description
The Youth Partnership is passionate about helping young people to make the successful transition from school to work or further education. We recognise that today’s youth will make up tomorrow’s workforce and it’s vital to provide them with a strong foundation of skills and practical experience to build upon.
A key service we provide at The Youth Partnership is the coordination of work placements for students studying Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses as part of their HSC. Workplace learning programs form part of the NSW secondary school curriculum. They enable students to spend a planned period of time – usually a week – in the workplace, gaining practical experience, assisting their career choices and building their industry skills.
The Youth Partnership also run a successful mock interview program, Interview Assurance, where we visit schools and simulate real interviews. This ensures students are well prepared when their job search begins.
Our team also provide additional career readiness programs for schools including Industry Tours, Career Exploration and Career Confidence.
