Description

Therapeutic Life Story Work has been an intervention for children, young people and adults for the last 25 years, but the approach has been developed to be used worldwide since 1997 by Richard Rose.

25 years on, with over 1000 people trained, three books and many articles published, the Rose Model of Therapeutic Life Story Work is the first model subjected to independent research and validated as an evidenced based narrative model. The research tells us that the TLSW Rose Model (2012) has excellent outcomes for children, young people and adults who have had traumatic experiences as part of their life stories.

Internationally there is a network of trained practitioners who bring skills in narrative work with traumatised children, young people and families to heal and support them towards living meaningful lives.

TLSWi and TLSWa were set up to provide assurance that the therapeutic life story worker you connect with, has been trained and supported to learn a model founded on evidence based research and has integrity you can count on. TLSWi also provides a network and resource for TLSW practitioners.

Please see TLSWi.com website, and in Australia, the Berry Street Institute for training pathways to be a TLSW practitioner. We would love for you to join the #TLSW #communityofpractice
