The Care List is an Australian Government approved home care package provider.
We have created a revolutionary model to deliver Home Care Packages under the Aged Care Act 1997 to enable elder Australians to stay at home longer as an alternative to entering a Residential Aged Care facility.
Our model addresses 4 key objectives that address the problems that plague the Home Care Package programme.
For Home Care Package recipients and those who do not yet have a Home Care Package, these objectives are:
Control - You have total control over who provides the services you need. It can be your preferred local service provider or someone recommended by a friend. You can control who is sent to you, not your package provider.
Choice - It's your choice. You choose the services you want. You choose when services are provided. You choose service providers that you know and like, or use trusted providers sourced and recommended by us.
Cost - We charge a very small percentage of your package funds in fees. We charge much less than the industry average, and our charges are always crystal clear and up front - no hidden surprises. This leaves you with more money to spend on the services you want.
Convenience - If you don't want the hassle of dealing with service providers, let us do the the work for you. Busy families need peace of mind too. We offer a 'Care List Carer' service which can take care of booking services, monitoring services provided, accounting for package funds, and dealing with emergencies etc.
