We started Tasman as a family-owned business in 1953, and we’ve earned our expertise through the consistent and meticulous care we put into every stage of the production journey. As the world’s only end-to-end leather business, we have the unique ability to control every variable in our processes. Our leathers are predominantly used in the footwear, upholstery and aviation sectors trusted by global brands.
Our leathers are inspired by the land we call home: New Zealand. We believe that beautiful products come from beautiful surroundings, and our customers seem to agree. Our commitment to transforming the best of New Zealand into world-class products ensures that all our leathers are as perfect as the environment from which they come. To preserve the environment that inspires us, we have made a beyond compliance commitment to sustainability strategies.
