Opening this year, The Standard, Singapore becomes our newest hotel in Southeast Asia, following celebrated debuts in Hua Hin and Bangkok. With just over 140 guestrooms and three food and beverage outlets, The Standard, Singapore is set on famed Orchard Road—nearby the UNESCO-honored Botanical Gardens. The hotel will feature The Standard’s signature mix of design and culture, with a point-of-view tailored to Singapore. Created in 1999, The Standard is known for pioneering design, taste-making clientele and unrelenting un-standard-ness. Launched in Hollywood, The Standard has now opened hotels around the globe, including in New York, Miami, London, The Maldives, Hua Hin, Ibiza and Bangkok. Standard hotels in Singapore, Melbourne, Lisbon, Brussels, Vienna, Dublin, Dubai, Mexico and Austin are under development. The goal of every Standard project—be it a city hotel, a seaside resort or a rooftop bar—is to defy convention, raise the aesthetic stakes and deliver an experience that only The Standard can. The Standard’s unconventional and playful sensibility, combined with careful consideration of design and service details, have established its reputation as a pioneer in hospitality, travel, dining and nightlife.
