The Skin Cancer Doctor is a network of highly-skilled skin cancer doctors & nurses who travel to regional, rural and remote locations to provide skin cancer diagnostic checks & treatment. Our goal is to detect skin cancer, particularly melanoma, early to save lives.
Approximately, two in three Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the time they are 70, and skin cancers account for around 80% of all newly diagnosed cancers.
In 2016, Dr Alan Jones founded this small business in Queensland. Our team now services over 50 locations, mainly in Queensland, but we are expanding to regional and remote communities in New South Wales. We work in collaboration with local doctors and health services, supporting their invaluable work in communities.
