Mission Participation in sports helps young people to prepare for the many challenges that await them as adults, through rewarding and fulfilling activities focused on physical and psychological development.
The Mustangs Ice Hockey Club aims to become a positive role model for today's youth, by empowering and encouraging ice hockey players of all ages to:
- Foster positive lifestyle habits

OUR VISION
By focusing on our goals, The Mustangs will: —
- Become a competitive and financially self-sufficient member of the AIHL
- Help promote and develop the sport of Ice Hockey in the state of Victoria
- Encourage parents and guardians to become involved in the sporting lives of their children
- Establish a long-term strategy aimed at Australian participation at International and Olympic levels
- Develop a sense of belonging among all members of the club, and the wider ice hockey community
- Enrich the sporting reputation of Melbourne and Victoria
