GBI was founded in 1959 by Ross Gibson and Jim Benness with a collection of agency lines including Valvoline oil, Sisal craft Building and Insulation foils. Subsequently that same year, GBI was appointed as the Laminex distributor for Western Australia and still represents their interests today, almost 60 years after the representation began.
Today GBI are national distributors, specialising in wholesale distribution, warehousing & Third Party Logistics (3PL).
The GBI group consists of three main divisions:-
