The Dorman Family Foundation was established in 2015 by Bryan and Chris Dorman. The Foundation's purpose is to provide philanthropic support to organisations which deliver services and positive outcomes to less privileged communities and groups.
The Dorman Family has always been passionate about being philanthropic in their community. The focus are for the Dorman Foundation includes:
1. Welfare, Education and furthering the life skills and opportunities of underprivileged Australian children
2. Supporting Medical Research and Medical Health Organisations in their endeavours, particularly in cures for Cancer
3. Furthering research and development for cures for Dementia and Dementia related illnesses
4. Furthering research and support for charitable causes for Aged Care
5. Support for other Charitable causes from time to time, which are assessed as suitable to the foundation
The Foundation aims to support smaller organisations and specific programs, which are not as likely to receive financial support from the Government and/or larger corporate organisations.
