A candidate is a name match on the registry, not a confirmed identity, and two candidates are ambiguity rather than a corporate structure.
The Catalytic Impact Institute (TCII) exists to enable transformative change.
We believe transformative change can only be achieved by changing the way we and others think before acting. We want for-purpose leaders and organisations to have a different and better way of solving big problems and creating impact.
We catalyse next-level thinking and action by:
- creating and investing in 10 year spaces for change
- harnessing the time, talent, money and networks of innovative social change agents and philanthropists
- investing in powerful coalitions that strive to change the conditions that are holding problems in place
We take up our role in pursuit of a more equitable, inclusive, and just Australia. We are guided by our values of ambition, abundance, adaptiveness, curiosity, humility, grit, and trust.
TCII's first impact area TCII is 7 – 17 year olds in NSW. We made this decision informed by research, the voice of young people, and a learning that there is insufficient focus on this age group. We heard this age group referred to as the ‘missing middle years’.
We are starting in NSW as that is where we are based and have influence. We recognise that the conditions holding poor outcomes in place for 7 – 17 year olds in NSW are likely to be similar across Australia. We are open to growing our role and impact to become Australia-wide, but we need to learn, grow and strengthen our organisation, skills and practice first.
