The TTRC is a priority research centre of the University of Newcastle. Its core researchers are from the School of Education in the Faculty of Education and Arts.
In order to improve the quality of teaching and teacher education in the interests of students everywhere, TTRC brings the broad disciplinary and methodological expertise of its researchers to address issues at the forefront of state and national policy agendas and at the cutting edge of academic scholarship. Research and research training activities cover the spectrum of theory development and measurement, intervention conceptualisation and testing, implementation and knowledge transfer.
