PT TASPEN (Persero) atau Dana Tabungan dan Asuransi Pegawai Negeri adalah Badan Usaha Milik Negara Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang Asuransi dan Dana Pensiun bagi ASN dan Pejabat Negara.

TASPEN dibentuk berdasarkan dengan Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 11 Tahun 1969 tentang Pensiun Pegawai dan Pensiun Janda/Duda Pegawai, yang selanjutnya juga memfasilitasi Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 11 Tahun 1992 tentang Dana Pensiun, serta Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 40 Tahun 2004 tentang Sistem Jaminan Sosial Nasional.

TASPEN telah menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari perjalanan panjang sejarah abdi Negara di Indonesia, atas peran yang diberikan oleh Pemerintah Republik Indonesia dalam menyelenggarakan Program Asuransi Sosial untuk Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) yang terdiri dari Program Pensiun dan Tabungan Hari Tua (THT) dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan Pegawai Negeri pada saat memasuki usia pensiun.
