The Tasmanian School of Business and Economics (TSBE) commenced teaching programs in 1914 within the University of Tasmania, which has been named the top-ranked university in the world for climate action.
The TSBE is a single school with five academic discipline areas: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing and Management.
Our vision is to advance the well-being, and economic and social development of the people of Tasmania and our communities.
Our mission is to lead research and learning in business and economics to benefit our local, regional and global communities.
We offer undergraduate degrees in Business and Economics and combined undergraduate degrees in Science, Arts and Law.
We also offer postgraduate degrees, which include a Master of Business Administration, Master of Marketing Management, Master of Professional Accounting and a Master of Finance.
Our students are taught by world-class academics in modern facilities with up-to-date equipment, which allows our students to connect with us from all across the world.
The TSBE is located across the Hobart City Campus, the Newnham and Inveresk Campus and Burnie, with additional teaching programs in Melbourne, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
