Description
Sydney City Rotaract Club is a dynamic group of empowered young people aged 18-30 who want to ‘make a difference’ in the community and the world.
Sponsored by Rotary International, Rotaract Clubs are part of a worldwide organization of 207,000 individuals in 9,000 clubs covering 163 countries.
Members engage in a wide range of activities including social, professional and community events. They are encouraged to put forward ideas, develop their skills and engage in projects they are passionate about.
Sydney City Rotaract is an energetic, fun and passionate Rotaract Club. We meet fortnightly and have both social and formal meetings.
Some of the things we’ve been up to this year include a trip to Rescue Mission orphanage in Thailand, a visit and joint project with our sister club in the Philippines, working bees and renovating of a new house for Stepping Stone House, volunteering with the Street Soccer Program, and a massive Charity Harbour Cruise in support of Polio Plus.
We also volunteer at Rotary and Charity events in the local community, as well as having occasional great guest speakers at meetings.
