The Student's Union of Faculty of International Relations (SUFIR) is a member of Vietnam National Union of Students. We are a unique student-run institution that is autonomous from the Faculty Administration in terms of operations and budget. We represent the students of FIR in University of Social Sciences - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, one of the top ranked social sciences and humanities schools in Vietnam. Our students are full of energetic, curious, passionate about what they do, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and social practice. SUFIR is spearheaded by the Committee consists of the Standing (President and Vice Presidents), Executives and Coordinators.

We are working and striving collaboratively, together with our satellite units and clubs to reach our vision as a representative, inclusive, credible and approachable Union that can be useful to FIR students during their time in Faculty and University.

To achieve such vision, we propose our two missions. First is to promote, safeguard and uphold students’ interest and welfare in FIR by their representative or our feedback channels that are readily available and accessible on-campus, as well as online. Undergraduates can also choose to approach members of SUFR Committee directly in person – We are all prepared to listen and work to improve the lives of students on campus. And second, to provide students with opportunities of leadership, community, challenge them to grow as global citizens and create a dynamic environment of self-development for students to fulfill their diverse future career plan. We infuse our programs and offerings with international and intercultural perspective so that students can move forward with the attitudes and understanding that will provide them with a solid base wherever their studies or work may take them.
