For players who want to play at a higher level, Sturt offers the most professional and successful junior program in South Australia. Since 1989 Sturt has been crowned the Champion Junior Club in South Australia 21 times.
Sturt enters our top men's and women's teams in Basketball South Australia's Premier League, which runs from April to August with matches on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. Come and see our elite basketballers, the vast majority of whom have graduated from Sturt juniors, and many of whom now play in the National Basketball League (NBL) or Women's National Basketball League (WNBL).
Sturt offers teams for players who have graduated from juniors, but may not be willing or able to play in our Premier League teams and who want to continue their association with the club by playing in our senior teams.
