Description
Stronger Families is committed to transforming the lives of families impacted by family and domestic violence (FDV) in Western Australia. Founded by Geoff and Jackie Hart-Davies, our mission is to break the cycle of intergenerational violence by supporting mothers and engaging fathers to promote safe and responsible parenting.

- 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: A foundational program that prepares participants for group work and supports them in identifying personal goals, safety needs, and capacity for change.
- 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝗱𝘀: A 17-week evidence-based group intervention supporting fathers to develop safer parenting practices and take responsibility for past harmful behaviours.
- 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀: A wraparound, trauma-informed therapeutic program providing separate and dedicated support to mothers and children, running independently but in alignment with Caring Dads.
- 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝗱𝘀: A preventative, early-intervention program designed to empower fathers with the tools, skills, and support they need to build strong, healthy family relationships.
Our programs are grounded in principles of collaboration, continuity, and tailored intervention. We work closely with stakeholders and partners like the Dept of Communities, Dept of Justice, WA Police, Allambee Counselling and Anglicare WA to deliver services across Perth, Peel, the South West and great Southern regions. In 2024, we supported over 460 individuals, including high-risk FDV perpetrators, through our comprehensive programs.
Stronger Families is a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient status. We acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Custodians of the land, recognising the importance of cultural, spiritual, and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
