For the last nine years, Startup Weekend Tauranga has brought together innovators, problem solvers, marketers, developers, designers and more. In just 54 hours participants meet, form a team, develop an idea, and showcase their startup concept to a panel of Judges. Startup Weekend Tauranga | Wellbeing is your opportunity to connect with like-minded people, start or build on your entrepreneurial journey, learn what it takes to start an enterprise by doing it and leverage the opportunity to really get started.
Startup Weekend Tauranga | Wellbeing means you will be focusing on building solutions and creating opportunities to enhance, improve and strengthen the social, environmental, economic wellbeing of our community. It can be through encouraging environmental responsibility, equal opportunity, civic engagement, and better access to housing, healthcare or education – but you are not limited to these topics. Whether you have an idea to improve your local community or global ones, the ultimate objective of this event is to empower you – to be the change you wish to see in the world!
