Spektronics is the First Chem-E-Car Team in Indonesia from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya. It's a group of remarkable students who dedicated their time in Research and Development on Renewable Energy and Better ways to gain more accurate and efficient car prototype.

Chem-E Car is a prototype car powered by chemical reaction which designed to carry a certain load to move and stop accurately at a certain distance by also ensuring the safety aspect of the car. The Team has joined the competitions both in National (Indonesia) and International (Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Germany, & America). We have produced around 21 Unique Prototype Cars and achieve 16 Top 3 Position in Race Section.

Several notable projects and innovations on the power source are Al-Air Batteries & Zn-Air Batteries, Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Pressurized Oxygen, Water Turbine, and Thermoelectric Generator Car. Improvement in Control System is done through Pressure Reader, Timer Based Reaction, Magnesium Stripe, Iodine Clock Stopping Mechanism, and others.
