Description

The Southern Solicitors Law Association (SSLA) is one of Melbourne’s largest law associations, representing approximately 1,200 solicitors who work and live in the southern suburbs of Melbourne from Port Melbourne to (but excluding) Frankston to the south of the Monash Freeway.

The association welcomes legal practitioners, law graduates and students from the southern suburbs as well as surrounding areas to participate in dinners and continued professional development. The SSLA is a voluntary, non-profit professional association dedicated to fostering a cohesive and supportive community for its members.

Monthly networking and CPD (including a fantastic dinner) are held at the Royal Brighton Yacht Club in Brighton. These events include guest speakers who share insights on the latest legal developments and practical advice for managing a law practice.

The SSLA boasts a dynamic and forward-thinking young lawyers group that offers networking and mentoring opportunities. Students and young lawyers are warmly invited and encouraged to join our meetings and events.
