South Cali all came about after Chad Stephens took a trip to the US in early 2013 and discovered a local brand of sunnies from San Diego that was both stylish and affordable.
Frustrated with the quality and price of sunglasses in Australia, Chad Stephens and Simon te Hennepe teamed up to disrupt the industry. The duo decided to approach the issue differently, and bring out their own range of polarised sunnies, but stripping back the margins and going direct to the public. This proved highly beneficial as the team generated enormous sales of their great quality, low priced polarised sunglasses.
Inspired by the stretch of ocean paradise in Southern California, the collection of sunglasses was designed to reflect the environment and protect your eyes from the elements while you’re out in the world. They have captured the essence of the California lifestyle and brought it back home. Each design is polarised, unisex, and UV-400 rated.
Now with a focus on Australian customers, South Cali Sunnies are designed in Australia for Australian men and women who desire unique sunglasses, perfect for people with a sense of fun, fashion and style.
