SMK Teknik PAL Surabaya adalah sekolah menengah kejuruan yang berada di bawah naungan Yayasan Pusdiklat PAL Indonesia, yang keberadaannya langsung terintegrasi dengan dunia industri, khususnya industri perkapalan, yaitu PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero). SMK Teknik PAL Surabaya berdiri pada tahun 2001 dengan empat program keahlian yang berada di dalamnya, yakni Teknik Kostruksi Kapal Baja, Teknik Pengelasan, Teknik Listrik Industri (sekarang Teknik Otomasi Industri) dan Teknik Perkayuan. Keempat program keahlian tersebut diharapkan dapat menunjang kebutuhan tenaga kerja yang ada di PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero).
