Description
The Singapore Slingers is the first and only true professional Basketball team in Singapore. The Slingers play in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL), a regional home and away basketball league consisting of teams based in Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Philippines and Thailand. The Slingers are a founding member of the ABL and have played in the ABL finals 3 of the last 4 seasons. The Slingers are a key partner with the ActiveSG Basketball Academy which conducts year-round basketball programs for children aged between 5-14 at centres throughout Singapore.
The Singapore Slingers were incorporated in Singapore in 2006.
