Setegap Ventures Petroleum Sdn Bhd was incorporated in Malaysia on December 7, 2004 as a wholly owned Bumiputra entity. SVP began business as the only Malaysian-owned and operated service providers to the upstream oil and gas sector, specializing in pumping and well services, well intervention, production enhancement and upstream drilling services.
SVP expanded its scope of operations to include Coil Tubing Unit-related services in 2008; a mere year after Petronas conferred VDP-status to the company. This growth allows SVP to offer a more comprehensive range of upstream services to the oil and gas industry. Less than a decade since its inception SVP has cemented its reputation as an organization run by savvy business and technical individuals who have together grown SVP into a company with a reputation for responsiveness and time-sensitive, innovative solutions. SVP’s commitment to best safety practices has won it accolades from the international powerhouses of the oil and gas industry, such as ExxonMobil, making SVP a Malaysian company which stands shoulder-to-shoulder with service providers worldwide.
