Serveron Sdn. Bhd. (“Serveron”) was specifically formed in 2011 to specialize in marketing, distributing & reselling data center hardware inclusive of servers, switches, racks, storage, and power distribution in the Malaysian market. In addition, Serveron will also be serving as systems integrator and local delivery & support provider for the hardware.
Serveron has identified 3 key segments of the market to target:
i) Telecom Operators ii) Data Center Operators iii) Small & Medium Enterprises.
The industry is becoming very cost conscious and data center hardware are becoming commoditized.
A new trend is starting to emerge that it is not about the branding only when customers buy the hardware as there is a realization for example that all x86 servers delivers comparable performance as long as they are the same Intel chipset. Serveron intends to leverage this trend to build itself a reputable place in the market place with Quanta Computer Inc
