Sebagai acara tertua, SECOND FEB UI selalu memberikan rekomendasi-rekomendasi kebijakan atau instrumen ekonomi Islam melalui lomba Essay, Papers, dsb kepada Indonesia. SECOND FEB UI dibawahi dan dipertanggungjawabkan langsung oleh Forum Studi Islam (FSI) Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Indonesia yang sekaligus sebagai salah satu proyek terbesarnya.
