Description
The Pelita Harapan Education Foundation began in 1992 and building a family of school in 1993, including Sekolah Pelita Harapan and Sekolah Lentera Harapan. The first Dian Harapan school opened in Lippo Karawaci 1995, with the idea of providing affordable education using Global Best Practices for middle income families of Indonesia. Since then additional campuses have opened in Cikarang and Daan Mogot in Jakarta as well as in Makassar

We believe that ourschool exist because God has called it into being. He wants us to be a school where His Love is both "Taught and caught".
The basic curriculum content comes from the Indonesian Ministry of Education but SDH adds to the content to give each student a richer learning exprience.That content is taught from a Biblical Christian Foundation, giving purpose and meaning. SDH campuses are bilingual. Global teaching strategies are used to help students become independent, self and life long learners.
