This is the oldest School of Landscape Architecture in Aotearoa New Zealand, having been educating professional landscape architects for over 50 years.
The school is known worldwide for its teaching and research excellence. Along with our traditional strengths, we provide digital solutions for real-world problems via Applied Computing and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
We believe in taking you out of the studios into the real world to give you the best experience and education. That means you'll take part in site visits, field trips and field tours to experience the amazing landscapes of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Master of Landscape Architecture (Taught) and Master of Landscape Architecture (Research) are accredited by the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA). Graduates are eligible to become registered professionals and are highly sought-after in public and private sectors in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and further afield.
