Founded in 1992 the company has grown to become Thailand’s most recognised and trusted supplier of Aluminium profiles and ancillary products.
Schimmer is a leader in European aluminum production technology supported by a professional team of specialist employees supporting a select group of customers across Asia, Europe, USA, and Australia.
Schimmer specialises in a broad range of industries, including architectural window, door, and curtainwall system, automotive, marine, transport, electronics, construction, furniture, and industrial products.
Our services include, extrusion die production, inline PvF2 & vertical powder coating, anodising, post-production, cutting & CNC machining, fabrication, packaging, assembly, and full turnkey solutions.
In 2017 Shimmer Metal Standard underwent rebranding to become SMS Schimmer.
The change in branding coincided with a push to utilise our design and engineering capabilities to develop a range of products predominantly made from Aluminium extrusions that would fit within the key industries we specialise in.
This development initiative has delivered a unique range of products including, solar panel support systems, self cleaning skylights, high performance louvre windows, carport &, greenhouse structures, stadium seating, windows, doors, and curtainwall systems.
Through these developments SMS Schimmer has developed strategic partnerships and supply chain in Aluminium casting, injection molds, and packaging that complementing our design and manufacturing capabilities. Product development is and ongoing commitment at SMS and extends to providing full turnkey solutions.
SMS Schimmer today is continuing our push internationally seeking strategic partners, agents and business to business customers in need of a diverse range of aluminium production services and supply solutions.
