Southwestern snake-necked turtle populations found in wetlands throughout the Perth metropolitan are facing dwindling population numbers. This project aims to upskill the community to track and protect turtles and their nests, while providing critical information to inform management and prevent extinction of the snake-necked turtle, across Perth and regional southwest WA.
