Công ty Cổ phần Sakuko Việt Nam (trước đây là Sakura Việt Nam) được thành lập từ năm 2011, là đơn vị đi đầu trong lĩnh vực phân phối sản phẩm hàng nội địa Nhật Bản tại thị trường Việt Nam. Sakuko Việt Nam thuộc tập đoàn BG, được thành lập tại Osaka, Nhật Bản từ năm 1987.
Sakuko Việt Nam hoạt động trong lĩnh vực siêu thị, khách sạn và xây dựng. Hiện nay, Công ty đã có hệ thống 14 siêu thị hàng Nhật nội địa, 10 cửa hàng bánh su kem Beard Papa’s, 3 khách sạn Nhật Bản và 2 Công ty con về lĩnh vực xây dựng, kho vận.
Từ tháng 12/2017, Sakura Việt Nam chính thức đổi tên thành Công ty Cổ phần Sakuko Việt Nam. Tên gọi giữ nguyên giá trị hình ảnh hoa anh đào Nhật Bản, nhưng là chùm hoa, mang ý nghĩa biểu tượng cho sự dũng mạnh của chiến sĩ Samurai, nay được liên kết lại tạo thành sức mạnh đoàn kết, thống nhất và vững mạnh.
