Description
Runcing Foundation is a not-for-profit organization aiming to improve access to quality education in underserved places of Indonesia. That means we like to sail across the islands of Indonesia, search for problems, learn and address them.
UNICEF and everything we read is certainly right: 27% children in Indonesia are reportedly not enrolled in Secondary school while the fact that Indonesia is in the fourth place as the world’s largest education system after China, India and the US, alas there are many things to solve.
According to PISA assessment, Indonesia sits on 62nd ranks out of 72 countries assessed. While further results reveal that Indonesia has the resources for quality education, but we still lack of efficiency in maximizing it.
