Description
REC is a robotic club established in April 2019 at University of Malaya. The society is led by a group of engineering students aiming to provide a platform for robotics knowledge and skills development such as robot designing, programming, complex thinking skills and teamwork.
Our Mission:
To become a platform for students to acquire useful technical and soft skills

REC’s ROBOCON Team Our ROBOCON team is consist of highly passionate undergraduate students from various department. Our team consists of three main departments which are mechanical, programming and schematics. These three departments work together to overcome all the technical issue and develop a robot that can compete against the toughest opponents in a series of challenges.
Past Achievements of REC’s ROBOCON Team:
We did not obtain a ranking in the ROBOCON 2020 competition as ROBOCON 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic, however we did manage to design and construct both Pass Robot (PR) and Try Robot (TR) to fulfil the game course.
During the ROBOCON Malaysia 2021, we designed and built both throwing and arrowkid robots. We managed to obtain the award of “10 Pasukan Terbaik”. From the latest achievement, we successfully grabbed the 4th place in group state during ROBOCON Malaysia 2022.
This year, we continue to recruit new talents to expand our team. We share one dream together, which is winning the ROBOCON. Hence, do not hesitate to join us if you share the same passion!
