Ritchies is not only Australia’s largest independent supermarket and liquor company we are also one of the oldest. Founded by Thomas Ritchie in 1870 on the Mornington Peninsula VIC, Ritchies now employ over 6,500 people across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

From a single store in Frankston, Victoria, Ritchies have grown to a network of 82 Supermarkets and 73 Liquor stores along the east coast of Australia.

Ritchies involvement and support of our local communities is part of our DNA. Our first “loyalty” program saw Thomas Ritchie giving back a penny for every pound to the local community. Through our Ritchies Card program we’re continuing this legacy by giving back to our local clubs, schools and charities.
