Description

Richmond Civil Works is a long established mainstay of the Adelaide construction community.

We started out as Richmond Demolition, a small house demolition contractor in 1991. Since then we’ve grown to become one of the best known civil and demolition firms in the region.

Thanks to Jack Mouhalos, our founder’s reputation for safety and dependability, we’re proud to be first on site for some of South Australia’s most high profile construction projects. In the mid-1990s Jack expanded to open a salvage yard in Richmond. By 2001 he was well established as a demolition contractor with many of South Australia’s commercial and domestic builders. With a fleet of trucks, equipment and a skilled workforce already on hand, the progression from demolition to civil and earthworks was quite natural.

For clients it’s meant one less contractor to deal with, fewer coordination headaches, as well as time and cost savings.

Since 2001, civil and earthworks have overtaken demolition as our primary activity, hence the name change to Richmond Civil Works.
