Designed and operated locally in Sydney, we help people do their best work by creating clean and comfortable spaces with affordable ergonomic furniture inspired by the Australian landscape.
Our focus on sustainability is at the forefront of what we do. From eco-friendly sourcing and packaging to long-lasting durability, Recess furniture is created to outlast trends with materials that don't cost the earth.
We follow four sustainability practices:
1. FSC Certified Timber suppliers: All of our wooden furniture is built from FSC Certified Timber.
2. Recycled materials: We use recycled materials in our products where possible, including for all our packaging.
3. Sustainable soundproof technology: Our award-winning Nook work booths save 1000+ plastic bottles from landfill and oceans by repurposing these materials into soundproof acoustic panels.
4. Product longevity: Our designs are built to support your work (and play) for years to come.
