To date, more than 8000 children and adults with a wide range of physical and intellectual disabilities have benefitted from our programmes. Horses provide a partner for physical therapy and cognitive improvement, in a unique format that is effective and inspiring. Riding or leading a horse helps improve motor control, coordination, balance, attention and sensory processes. Interacting with our volunteers and instructors for activities with their equine partner helps our beneficiaries with cognitive and mental development, builds interpersonal and social skills, and forms special and meaningful connections, making a life-changing impact on their wellbeing and confidence.
