Rapid Ascent is Australia's leading Adventure Sports Event Management company organising off road adventure sports events, multisport events, trail running races and mountain bike events across Australia.
Each event is held within spectacular wilderness that provides every competitor with a truly memorable experience. Our races are not just about sport, they are about the great outdoors, promoting environmental awareness, healthy lifestyles, community participation and creating a friendly festival atmosphere for everyone.
Rapid Ascent commenced in 2004 and is run by Race Director - and world recognised adventure racer and kayak marathon champion - John Jacoby and General Manager Sam Maffett. Rapid Ascent is based in Torquay, Victoria.
