Description
Rainbow House was created in December 2011, in the city of Iligan in the Philippines, following the devastating impact of Typhoon Washi (Sendong). The typhoon killed over 1300 people and created significant issues of displacement for many residents of Iligan. Unfortunately, there were many children tragically impacted by this disaster - losing both their families and homes.
Rainbow House is an orphanage which provides a safe and loving home environment, with a focus on providing education for children in Iligan.
Through both corporate sponsorship and private donations, we hope to further expand Rainbow House to other parts of the Philippines, as well as Bangladesh, Thailand and India.
