Description

QR Lawyers was established in 2010 by Michael Quinert and David Rodda. They formed a strong relationship while working together as part of a larger firm, during which time they found their niche specialising in corporate law.

Together, the duo shared and developed their vision of forming a legal practice with a difference. One that was smaller and more agile, without being tied to the cost structures and routines associated with a larger, full-service firm. The goal was to establish a practice that would allow them to focus on their key areas of specialty, without distraction.

Over the past ten years, QR Lawyers has grown to incorporate two further partners, Patrick Gowans and Sophie Inwood.

Our now eight-strong team comprises people with a varied array of skills, experiences and outlooks. Our team are more than just lawyers. Between us we are involved as directors and secretaries of ASX-listed companies and private corporations in a varied range of industries, including mining and exploration and software and technology businesses. Our people have also worked with a number of not-for-profit organisations, including in the medical research and biotechnology industry, held management positions within the ASX and been involved in leadership positions in organisations which promote change and diversity in our practice areas.
