Public Bank Vietnam (PBVN) is a fully-owned foreign bank by Public Bank Berhad - one of the top-tier banks in Malaysia, reputed for its strong financial performance and consistent prudent management. Public Bank Vietnam, formerly known as VID Public Bank, was one of the first joint venture banks in Vietnam, which was established on 25 March 1992 as a 50:50 joint venture Bank between the Bank for Investment & Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and Public Bank Berhad, Malaysia (PBB). Throughout the 29 years of successful establishment in Vietnam, the Bank has to-date expanded its network to 26 branches and transaction bureaus (TBs) in all major cities and provinces in Vietnam.
