PT Ume Persada Indonesia (UPI) is a Japanese oriented company established under the law of the Republic of Indonesia on 26 January 1998, starting with the maintenance services for copper smelter and refinery facilities in Gresik, East Java.
As a growing and developing business entity, UPI has to increase its performance continuously in attaining better services toward clients with safety awareness and contribution to the local society.
Originally, UPI was granted the government approval for the business of maintenance and services for copper smelter and refinery industries and approved business location is limited in Gresik District, East Java Province Indonesia.
Since its establishment, UPI has grown and expanded its business not only for maintenance of copper smelter and refinery industries but also for sophisticated industries including rectification and modification works of other machinery and factories, in order to keep the wheels of plants operations moving with focus on refractory, mechanical, piping and corrosion maintenance.
In April 1999, UPI was granted the approval for the business of maintenance, engineering consultancy and construction services for machinery of copper smelter refinery, chemical, petrochemical and other industries from the Minister of Investment/Chairman of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) all over Indonesia.
UPI has established a quality management system in plant maintenance to assure quality of our services to clients. It fully complies with ISO 9001 : 2015 and also certified SMK3 from Ministry of Manpower of Republic Indonesia.
