Description
We are a not-for-profit organisation that works with people living with the consequences of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). We also help family members in any way affected by this. Our members come from all walks of life including those living with PTSD and their families or people who want to do their bit to make the lives of people living with PTSD more enjoyable and fulfilling.
Our work complements the activities of other community-based organisations and government agencies that provide services to people with post traumatic stress.
Our vision is to create a co-ordinated network of outreach and support services to help those with lived experience of PTSD and their families regain control over their daily lives. These services will centre on a community-owned and operated Post Traumatic Stress management protocol currently under development by the Universities of Wollongong and Canberra. Fearless is also working actively with the University of the Sunshine Coast to develop appropriate approaches to PTSD management and support become part of a national program available to all Australians and New Zealanders who live with this injury.
