Hutan Harapan is the remaining lowland tropical forest in Sumatra which represents about 20 percent of the biodiversity on the island of Sumatra. This forest area is the first Ecosystem Restoration concession in Indonesia. Located on the border of the provinces of Jambi and South Sumatra with an area of 98,555 hectares.
