PT Mangga Dua is a coconut oil refinery which was founded in 1949. One of PT Mangga Dua’s aims is to constantly strive in order to achieve optimal output in the most efficient way.
There have been tremendous improvements in production throughout its 68 years of experience in manufacturing RBD Coconut oil, however it has never stopped improving its management and engaging in product variance to suit consumers’ changing demands. Due to an increasing aggregate demand for Organic Refined Coconut Oil, PT Mangga Dua currently produces both Organic and Non Organic refined Coconut Oil.
Last year, PT Mangga Dua was recognized by being awarded with a organic certificate from Eco Cert for producing Organic Refined Coconut Oil (RBD), becoming one of the first Organic Refined Coconut Oil Producer in Indonesia.
The raw materials we use for producing our Organic RBD coconut oil originates from Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, whereby a group of organically certified coconut farmers supply coconuts and copra to our sister company Amacos . The process of Milling the dried coconut and refining takes place in PT Mangga Dua plant located in Jakarta, where all the colour, taste and smell are removed. The final product has various uses, ranging from cooking oil to numerous skin care formulation, such as moisturizers and soups, which is a natural alternative. Due to our relentless pursue of excellence, Mangga Dua not only sells its products domestically under the brand name ‘Aroma,’ but also has the privilege of exporting to other countries like USA, Canada, China, Hong kong, Poland, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Brazil, and Korea.
Due to our relentless pursue of excellence, PT Mangga Dua has obtained the ISO 22000: 2005 (Food Safety System) Certified and is a participant of NON Gmo project.
