Malea energy is a hydroelectric power plant with a power of 2X45 MW (Stage 1) and 3X75 MW (Stage 2) using tunnels as a place for the water to flow. Located in the village of Randanbatu, Makale, Tanatoraja, South Sulawesi.
With the technological development nowadays the utilization of water resources increasingly diverse. River as abundant water resources in Indonesia became potential alternative for power plants. These are in line with fact that demand for electricity continous to grow each year.
Saddang rivers in Tana Toraja has an average annual discharge of 129.9 m³/sec. Thus Saddang river became river with huge potential to generating electrical energy.
In accordance with the vision and mission of PT Malea Energy, the selection of the construction site in eastern Indonesia aims the develope the region through infrastructure development and hydroelectricity.
