PT. Lautan Solusi Airindo merupakan anak perusahaan dari PT. Lautan Luas Tbk yang sudah ada sejak tahun 1951. Pada awal berdiri, PT. Lautan Luas Tbk mengawali usahanya sebagai importir dan distributor bahan kimia dasar untuk industri batik dan makanan di Indonesia.
Pada tahun 1985, PT. Lautan Luas Tbk memperluas bisnisnya dengan membangun divisi pengolahan air dengan fokus awal menyediakan bahan kimia koagulan khusus dan produk-produk pengolahan air Ketel-Pendinginan. Pada tahun 2003-2009, PT. Lautan Luas Tbk menambahkan penyediaan bahan kirimia untuk flokulan dari cytec, karbon aktif dari kalgon, serta resin penukar ion dari purolite.
Tahun 2010-2012 PT. Lautan Luas Tbk menambahkan penyediaan bahan kimia untuk Water Treatment berbasis Reverse Osmosis (RO) serta Gula, Biosida, dan Performance Chemicals. Namun, PT. Lautan Luas Tbk memperhatikan pelanggan memiliki kesulitan untuk memasang produk pengolahan air secara benar dan efisien. Oleh sebab itu, pada tahun 2013 PT. Lautan Luas Tbk mulai membantu pelanggan dalam pengaplikasian produk Water Treatment.
Tingginya kebutuhan dan kepercayaan pelanggan terhadap PT. Lautan Luas Tbk, pada tahun 2015 PT. Lautan Luas Tbk memulai:
- Operasi dan maintenance business untuk RWT, WWT, CWT, dan RO system
- Mengembangkan injeksi dan sistem kontrol untuk bahan kimia pendingan (setara dengan Nalco Trazar)
- Bisnis tambahan untuk Chlorine dan Cyanuric berbasis disinfectant
