tvOne is an Indonesian privately owned national television station based in East Jakarta. It used to be known as Lativi, then changed its name after an ownership swap in February 2008. tvOne is owned by PT. Visi Media Asia, Tbk. (VIVA Media Group).
We started broadcasting on-air as tvOne on Thursday, 14 February 2008 at 7:30 PM. It was opened by then President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vice President of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla. Currently, we are maintaining 47 transmission station across Indonesia, with more than 200 million potential viewers.
Supported by five news bureau (Medan, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, Kuala Lumpur) and hundreds of news contributors/correspondents across the world (United Kingdom, United States of America, Germany, Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries), we have successfully maintained our position as the number one news TV station for 10 consecutive years and becoming reference by local and international media.
